With a handful of exceptions, every event at ScreenFest is available to screen lovers across the world! Events that are limited to Australia are marked with a crossed-out ‘globe’ icon.
You need to be 13 years or older to create a ScreenFest account. Some events are restricted by age, based on their Australian classification, which is indicated on relevant events.
ScreenFest 2020 is completely free to attend. Just make sure to reserve your spot so you don’t miss out!
You’ll be prompted to make an account when you register for an event, or click the “Log In” button in the top right corner to register your details. Make sure you’re logged in to your account or you won’t be able to register for events!
We recommend using your main email address as your ScreenFest log in. All your tickets will be stored in your account and you won’t be able to view events without being signed in so it’s important to keep your account details handy. We’ve also given you the option to sign in using your Facebook or Google accounts!
Once you’ve explored the program and found an event you’d like to register for, click “Reserve My Spot” to secure your ticket! When it’s time for your event, we recommend logging in 5-10 minutes prior to the event start time to sign in, load the page, check your internet and get settled.
Under the “Program” heading, click “Full Program”. You can view the entire schedule, view by day, category, in alphabetical order or by Topic!
If you do not have a ticket in your account for an event, it means you have not registered for it. Log in to your account and click “Reserve My Spot”. You should then see the ticket appear in your account via the ticket icon in the top-right corner of your screen.
Of course! Click on the ticket icon in top right corner and select the “Remove” button next to the event you can no longer. You can always RSVP again later if you change your mind!
All events will start at the designated time – if you’re late, you can still watch the event, but it will play from the point it’s currently at, rather than starting from the beginning for you. Most events will be available for catch up after their live premiere so you can catch up on what you missed at another time!
With a handful of exceptions, all events will be available for catch up shortly after their live premiere. Catch up/on demand viewing will be available until 11:59pm AEDT, Wednesday 16 December, 2020.
We think ScreenFest is best enjoyed with friends! Want to tell someone you’re going? Click the “Tell A Friend” button on the event page and copy the link to your messages, social media and emails to let your friends know what you’re attending so they can register for free, too!
You can watch ScreenFest from any phone or computer, using your browser. On computers, we recommend using Chrome, Firefox or Safari.
Yes – events will start at their designated start time and if you’re late, you won’t be able to start from the beginning but will join the event at the point it’s up to. For most events, when the live stream has completed, you will be able to watch from the beginning when the entire video is uploaded to the event page.
