Connie Kennedy has worked in film and TV for 25 years. She has consistently been on the forefront of emerging technologi…es to facilitate both physical and virtual production. Connie is currently Head of the Los Angeles Lab at Epic Games, where she is responsible for education and industry adoption of Unreal Engine in film and television, working with top studios to leverage real-time video game engines in innovative ways on projects such as “The Mandalorian” and “Westworld.” She previously co-founded Profile Studios, a pioneer in the area of virtual production with credits including “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens” and “Avengers: Endgame.” Through Profile she also served as virtual production producer for Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s VR experience “Carne y Arena,” which was awarded a Special Achievement Oscar.

Shawn Dunn has been involved in the 3D industry for 27 years. During that time he spent 5 years at Alias|Wavefront on th…e software side of the business and 13 years at Weta Digital on both the art and technical side, which have given him a unique perspective on how technology serves the creative and artistic process and enables him to produce consistently high quality work. Dunn has also worked as a Professor of 3D Digital Animation at Seneca and Sheridan college. From 2016 Dunn was CTO for Original Force for 3.5 years, helping improve their technological footprint, quality and capacity of work. Since October 2019 he has been a Senior Product Manager with Epic Games focusing on the Film and Television industry. Matt Madden is the Director of Virtual Production at Epic Games, his main area of focus includes leading the growth and …development of the Unreal Engine in Virtual Production, with a current emphasis on in-camera visual fx. Matt’s career has spanned over 25 years in film, episodic, and game production, with his primary emphasis one the integration of virtual worlds and characters with live action photography. Matt received a Sci-Tech Academy Award for his contribution to the VFX industry in 2005, and his recent achievements include serving as Virtual Production Supervisor on The Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, as well as season one of The Mandalorian.
